PL Green Way: Turning Unused Paper into Educational Opportunities

Shredded paper that is no longer needed in the office may seem like nothing more than waste waiting to be discarded. For PL, however, these materials can still create value in a new way.

PL donated 30 kilograms of unused shredded paper to Don Muang Tollway Public Company Limited under the “Green Way Notebook” project. The paper will be recycled and transformed into notebooks for schools that lack sufficient resources and face limitations in providing essential learning materials. This initiative goes beyond waste management. It gives “paper that has served its purpose” a new role as a “tool for learning,” while helping reduce the need for new resources and supporting the reuse of materials in line with the principles of the Circular Economy.

PL believes that the value of an item does not end when it is no longer needed by us. When resources are passed on through the right channels, they can create benefits for both the environment and society. PL therefore continues to support initiatives that give materials a second life while helping create greater access to educational resources for young people.
